WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Designing and building advanced applications for the iOS platform
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Design, code, analyze, and test systems for iOS applications
• Handle software updates, patches, and bug fixes
• Develop applications for time-sensitive projects while considering business/system requirements
• Communicate with a team of developers, designers, project managers, and other personnel to ship new features

 WHAT YOU MIGHT LOOK LIKE

• 4 years’ experience developing native iOS applications
• 5 years of experience in mobile or web application development
• Expert in designing and building iOS applications on top of RESTful services
• Strong fluency in Objective-C
• Strong experience in using related tools: XCode, Instruments to troubleshoot and profile iOS native apps
• Have at least one app published in the App Store
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Go, Scala
• Experience with test frameworks such as KIF and Espresso, etc.
• Experience working as part of an agile software development team including interaction with a source code repository (GitHub or SVN)
• Continuous integration considered a plus
• Expert in design/implementation for user experience and performance
• Confidence in advocating for and implementing iOS design patterns
• Ability to work with multiple partners/teams and lead projects to delivery
• Write unit tests not because you have to, but because you know it makes your code better.
• Familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins), application monitoring (Crashlytics and fabric.io), mocking tools (Appium and Apiary) and Cucumber for functional tests
• Open to work on both iOS and Android code base
• Experience with Cocoa Pods and creating independent frameworks is a plus
• B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science is desired
