Qualifications

HCA certification required (or CNA license preferred)

Minimum 6 months full-time / 12 months part-time caregiving experience

Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance (if transporting clients)

Proof of current TB testing

Physical ability to perform caregiving duties

Punctual, mature, and trustworthy

Ability to pass national/state background checks

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and meaningful conversation

Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, meals)

Support safe mobility and transportation to appointments

Prepare meals and provide medication reminders

Follow emergency protocols and safety procedures

Engage clients in activities they enjoy to promote wellness

Document care provided according to agency standards
