Knoxville Recovery Center is looking for a dedicated primary therapist to join our team! Located in beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee KRC provides a supportive environment for individuals recovering from addiction and alcoholism. We are a 36 bed co-ed facility offering Substance Abuse treatment We offer a diverse array of therapeutic services, with a focus on individualized care.

    Job Description:

    As a Primary Clinician at Knoxville Recovery Center, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of roughly 6-7 clients at a time. This includes twice weekly one on one sessions, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment planning. Clinicians are also responsible for maintaining weekly contact with client’s family members and group facilitation. Knoxville Recovery center is a client and family centered organization. We are passionate about helping others achieve freedom from drugs and alcohol and we are hoping you are too!

    Core responsibilities/Day to Day activities

    Development of treatment plans based on individual problems and needs.

    Maintaining weekly contact with client’s family

    Weekly one on one Sessions with caseload of 8 clients

    Group Facilitation ( 4-6 hours a week)

    Requirements:

    1. Education – Bachelors level preferred or (related experience in substance abuse field.)

    2. Experience - Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience is preferred.

    3. Certifications - LPC/MHSP, LADC, LMFT, CADC, LADAC

    Group and individual therapeutic experience

    Nice to have:

    Knowledge of alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis experience .

    Understanding of the range of treatment and interventions needed for chemically dependent individuals.
