HCI is seeking a summer intern to work with our Human Resources Department in a variety of functions including talent acquisition, application tracking, recruitment, on-boarding, and reporting.
Research best practices in Talent Acquisition: Including Hiring Trends, Social Media Tools,
Assist with placing job ads, reviewing resumes, phone screenings, and representing the HR Department by assisting/conducting interviews
Assist in conducting employment references, background checks and other pre-employment screens
Collect necessary new hire forms and perform follow-up to ensure paperwork is returned in a timely and accurate manner
Run reports to support our management team with staffing and hiring.
-Preferred majors: Human Resources, Business Administration or any related field
-Minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs
-Experience with Applicant-tracking systems is a plus, but not required.
-Very thorough organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently, self-motivated as well as work well with others.
