Job Description
Looking for an intern who is able to stay 6-12 months. Full time preferred but will consider part time (3 days per week minimum).
Must be pursuing a 4-year degree: Computer Science focus preferred.
- Learn Identity Management roles and request templates
- Build computers using IT Fleet Management (ITFM) process and equipment deployment
- Learn Service Management Tickets to correct any ITFM related issues
- Deploy computers on floor start to finish and receive old computers into inventory.
- Assist users with questions related to smartphones, printing applications, and computer issues.
- Work with manufacturers to repair equipment. (Lenovo, HP)
- Assist in walk throughs to learn more about computer networking.
- Follow up on user confirmations for ITFM replacements.
- Create new process for Android scanner implantation. While learning how our network subnets work.
- Special IT Service Portal (ITSP) related trainings to our customer. (Common ticket how-top’s)
- Learn about network infrastructure with SCCM, ESX, and NetApp replacements.
- Assist in switch replacement and cable management.
- Support Firewall Project helping with plant migration
- Document PDU and relabel devices with Facilities team
- Attend meetings to observe and consult
- IT Space support and customer service
- Assits with coordination of production switch installation onsite
