    We are seeking a Business Development Officer to join our team. This role will be primarily responsible for identifying channels and methods for developing new business, with relatively little responsibility for managing relationships, providing advice, or servicing clients. The role will also help implement marketing strategies to increase the number of target prospects introduced to the business. The BDO will also take ownership of the sales funnel and see leads through the qualification to the on-boarding process. The BDO will have an autonomous environment with which to be successful in the role. Responsibilities: • Identify opportunities to actively market to prospective clients • Develop and implement an effective sales pipeline for prospective clients • Report to the CEO on the sales pipeline status and efficacy • Report on and monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives • Maintain professional competencies and adhere to the firm’s ethical standards and cultural values • Maintain a solid network within the industry Qualifications: • Success in attracting new business • Ability to effectively identify, qualify and advance leads through the sales pipeline • Great networking skills • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Proven knowledge of financial services industry (RIA preferred) • Proven knowledge of and adherence to industry compliance standards • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree preferred • 5+ years of industry experience in a client-facing role working with high net worth individuals  Compensation: $150,000 plus commission
