HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Nurse Educator for Critical Care at a 40 bed hospital in California.

The key areas of focus for this Educator are:

• Working with department leaders to assess staff and determine needed skillsets
• Facilitating education through developing, planning, implementing and evaluating competency
• Supporting development of Critical Care bedside nursing with delivery of evidence-based nursing practice
• Sustaining clinical competencies, policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred
  
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of Educator experience combined with clinical experience in Critical Care setting; skilled at assessing educational needs, knowledge transfer and facilitating the learning of clinical skills; effective communication skills
  
• License: California RN License required
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required
  
• Computer Skills: EMR (EPIC preferred) and Microsoft Office suite

All expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, transportation, and trips home during the assignment.
