Job Description
Fast growing company is seeking a motivated Technical Customer Support professional with at least two years of previous call center customer service and technical support. Ideal candidate will provide technical/troubleshooting assistance, general product information, warranty assistance, and parts order processing.
The primary customers are end users, service professionals, and other professionals responsible for ensuring water filtration equipment is always functional.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Answer technical support calls relating to (troubleshooting and programming) water filtration systems, advise on water filtration technology and general water purification questions via phone, email, and chat.
- Answer customer sales and product support inquiries.
- Help with general office duties such as filing, organizing and other miscellaneous duties when needed.
- Serve as the primary contact to our company for current and potential customers/consumers.
- Receive calls from end users, service professionals and others to assist with the identification of the source of problematic conditions involving equipment, related equipment, and installations.
- Make warranty related decisions for residential & commercial water softeners and related equipment.
- Provide reference numbers, as applies, to ensure warranty coverage.
- Provide specification information for callers considering purchase.
- Assist customers with sizing water softeners and related equipment based on facility needs.
- Processes part orders – warranty & sales.
- Reviews proofs of purchase for legitimacy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree and minimum 2 years experience
- Experience working on water filtration a plus, but not required
- Aptitude to understand basic functions, installation, operation and repair water filtration equipment
- Strong customer service mentality and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer and typing skills
