Pay: $75.00 - $100/hour. (Determined upon experience)

Shift: Variable

Sign-on Bonus is offered for direct candidates (Paid over 1st year of employment)

Relocation Bonus between $2,000-$5,000

General job duties Emergency Department registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions. -Responsible for assessing, intervening, and stabilizing a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action. -Due to the range of medical conditions that may require urgent treatment and care, they must be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues. -Properly understand triage in order to prioritize injuries based on medical needs. -Able to make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Meditech, Supply Pyxis/Omnicell, Carefusion Med Pyxis.

Required skills and minimum years of experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department.

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations are required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS are required,

Shift or schedule requirements. Variable, including every other weekend. No call is required for Travelers and will not ever work alone.

Floating to other units/departments. No floating.

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 19

The nurse-to-patient ratio of this unit. 1:4 for ED patients, 1:3 IMC 1:2 or 1:1 ICU/Trauma cases

Dress Code: Scrubs
