Application Assistance Specialist for Local Hospital $33/HOUR! Location: Houston, TX Schedule: * Hybrid Job Dutioes: * Assist families with application assistance and communicates appropriate documents needed to complete a successful application and outlines next steps. * Assists families with direct communication needs from hospital by providing explanation of verbal and/or written feedback from state agencies. * Provides language interpretation assistance as needed to support families in their communications with state agency representatives. * Documents and reports a summary of interactions with the families and collects data related to the program assistance provided for tracking purposes. * May be required to start at a different location throughout the workweek or travel to multiple sites. The candidates will mostly be working during the day, but may be asked to work weekends too This will be a hybrid role. Mostly remote Spanish language proficiency, Community Health Worker certification (preferred), comfortable with Microsoft office, Requirements: * Required- H.S. Diploma or GED * Required CHW - Community Health Worker Texas Department of State Health Services * Required- TDR - Texas Driver's License State of Texas Must be up to date with COVID-19 Vaccinations and Boosters
