The mission of the Accountant I is to handle transactional accounting and reporting including but not limited to AR/AP/Billing/Payroll, preparation of Department Reports and interaction with HEOPS external accountants . This role is a KEY part of the day-to-day operations. The right candidate should be a self starter with the ability and desire to get things done. This is a minimum 40 hour role ONSITE at the Corporate HQ in Nashville (not remote).

Below are many of the key ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* maintenance of Quickbooks in alignment with external accountants and Management
* promptly address financial and accounting requirements
* work to reduce days in Accounts Receivable with Clients
* review and validate professional services time and billing to create client billings and reports weekly
* learn HEOPS processes to Corporate Specifications
* interface with vendors and management
* Payroll preparation for the accountants, time and billing review, AP/ AR
* assist with corporate reporting and KPI management
* be curious, have fun and help us help others.
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or Higher
