We are looking for an experienced Marketing Strategist Manager to lead our Marketing department. You will be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and effective marketing strategy with the goal of helping to highlight and enhance our reputation and in partnership with Sales, increase our market share.
Requirements
Our Marketing Strategist Manager position oversees the design of digital marketing campaigns, appropriate and targeted market research and the development of guidelines to promote our company. Extensive experience in content marketing, brand management and a strong understanding of our industry will be needed. Responsibilities
- Set and sell specific marketing goals; articulate and ensure leadership buy-in and agreement
- Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business goals
- Develop digital campaigns to increase web traffic
- Analyze sales and marketing metrics as part of a strategy to measure effectiveness and adjust when necessary
- Gather feedback from sales and analyze consumer behavior to define our company’s positioning
- Craft our differentiation strategy through compelling and inspiring storytelling
- Define content strategies to engage and convert new and existing audiences
- Create guidelines that define our company’s voice both online and offline
- Develop our social/digital media strategy
- Assess the performance of our advertising campaigns and events
- Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities and challenges
- Plan on the editorial calendar and proposition of content
- Work in close partnership with Sales to provide effective marketing tools and strategies
- Develop and oversee the writing tone and style guide for all content
- Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand and our products
- Research, determine and address advertising needs
- Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels
- Use customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction
- Liaise with internal teams and ensure brand consistency
- Establish a strong, long-term web presence
- Perform on-going competitive intelligence analysis and share with leadership
- Successfully manage a team of direct reports
Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Marketing strategist, Brand strategist or similar role in Marketing
- Previous Supervisor or Manager experience
- Experience developing marketing strategies based on market segmentation
- Creativity
- Portfolio of brand-building projects is a plus
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies (e.g. online tools and social media)
- In-depth knowledge of CRM software and Content Management Systems
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
- Understanding of web design
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly, charismatic and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills / data-driven thinking
- Team/project management skills
- Technology proficiency
