    The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of a broad range of sales and marketing activities between the home office, communities and outside sales and marketing vendors.  Assists Kisco communities by updating media and marketing plans and by ensuring that direct marketing plans are implemented on time and per estimate. This role also provides general administration support for the Sales and Marketing Team Leader. Provides assistance to CRM users by serving as the backup CRM administrator.

    • Keep artwork status sheet updated with current project status on a daily basis
    • Marketing SharePoint site maintenance and administration
    • Assign and maintain all lead source codes in CRM system
    • Process all marketing invoices according to pre-approved budget for community media schedules. Mark paid invoices on agency media schedules.
    • Marketing expense pcard reconciliation
    • Maintain project workflow
    • Maintain electronic filing system for all final artwork and corresponding insertion orders
    • Maintain physical filing system for all advertising tear sheets
    • Coordinate annual sales conference & regular sales training
    • Coordinate regular team meetings, including monthly calls with community sales teams
    • Keep company collateral in stock including most up to date copies of community collateral
    • Keep marketing phone directory up to date
    • Maintain Mimeo Marketplace with updated community flyers/templates for ordering
    • Generate and distribute weekly & monthly sales reports and metrics
    • Completes a variety of special reports and administrative projects as needed

    Required Skills

    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Microsoft SharePoint experience highly preferred. Adobe Creative Suite knowledge helpful but not required. 
    • Must have knowledge of Internet. 
    • Ability as a self-starter who can work with little or no instruction/supervision on varied business related projects. 
    • Must be extremely organized.
    • Must have strong written and verbal communications skills. 
    • Ability to interact well with co-workers and function within a team environment. 
    • The ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
    • The ability to understand and follow published work rules and procedures
    •  Knowledge, use and maintenance of the following tools and equipment: printers, scanner, copier, fax machine, telephone systems, etc.
    •  Strong organizational and analytical skills. 
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with multiple priorities.  Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. 
    •  Is able to collaborate with colleagues and thrives in a team environment.  Is punctual and dependable.

     

    Required Experience

    • Associates degree with an emphasis in Marketing, English, Communications, or related field is required or the equivalent combination of education (including vocational school) and experience. 
    • A minimum of two years of experience of actively supporting marketing initiatives as a media coordinator is also required. 
    • Experience in the senior housing industry or ad agency is a plus.
