About the Role:

Join Tradition Home Health Care as a HHA-PCA in Brooklyn, NY, where you will provide essential support to clients in their homes. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to deliver high-quality care and make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.

Monitor and document client health and progress, reporting any changes to the supervisor.

Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.

Administer medications and assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.

Work flexible hours, including long shifts, to meet client needs.

Requirements:

Must have a valid HHA or PCA certification in New York State.

Previous experience in home health care or a similar role is required

Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.

Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.

Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts.

Basic understanding of medication administration and health monitoring.

Must pass background checks and health screenings.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
