About the Role:
Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) and make a difference in the lives of our clients in Brooklyn, NY. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to those in need.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Administer medications and monitor clients' health status as required.
Help clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning.
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to deliver optimal care.
Requirements:
Valid HHA or PCA certification in New York State.
Experience in home health care or a similar caregiving role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and assist clients with physical tasks.
Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
Reliable transportation and flexibility in working hours.
Basic understanding of health and safety protocols.
Background check clearance and references required.
