The services include research, analyze, design and implement appropriate IBM Cognos and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) reporting solutions for business users based on any outstanding and future requests; enhance and maintain Client and Business Intelligence (BI) Production Reporting system.

The project deliverables may include the following components:
Client and BI Release work:
Production Reporting systems: Maintenance and Operations Support
Maintain the existing package(s) and suggest for ways of improving the performance and maintainability
Performance tuning of Cognos and OBIEE applications - both on reports, framework side and server/infrastructure aspects
Maintain existing Framework Manager packages and build new packages as per reporting needs
Maintain existing Oracle Repository (RPD) metamodels and build new models as per reporting needs
Design, develop and deliver data extracts from Client databases and data warehouses
Update design and technical specification documents for on-going report modifications
Maintain security of Cognos and OBIEE Objects and implement data level security on reports to restrict data visible to users
Maintain security of Client data assets through the administration of Cognos and OBIEE features
Maintain knowledge of Client data models and data dictionary for the purpose of maintaining Cognos and OBIEE reports and enhancing user awareness of business data

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER
Contractor will document all work products relating to the development and maintenance of the Cognos reports and packages including, but not exclusively, requirements, specifications/layouts, design, operations, user contacts and methodology. Contractor will draft a checklist of transition activities, timelines and methodology for the supervisor’s review and approval. Once approved, contractor will engage with Client State staff to execute on transition activities including, not exclusively, job shadowing and hands-on training sessions.
