Personal Assistance Habilitation (PAB 1)

HiHealthCare is accepting resumes for Personal Assistance Habilitation (PAB workers) to provide one on one assistance to individuals of all ages with special needs in their home and/or community setting. Personal Assistants help these individuals to acquire, retain, and improve life skills that allow them to be more independent at home and within the community setting. This position involves hands on assistance (performing task with or for the individual) to encourage instructional learning for the participant to meet outcome goals.

Caregiver Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Some college is preferred

6 months experience working with children or young adults with developmental disabilities

Ability to communicate both written and verbal

Caregiver Requirements

Up to date BLS and First Aid Certification

2 Step TB Clearance upon hire and annual TB Clearance thereafter

Pass Criminal Background Check

Pass Drug Screen

Proof of legal ability to work and reside in the U.S.

Able to provide work references
