Our client, the leader in the audio marketing space and a great place to work is looking to hire a Sr Marketing Manager (TEMP)
About the Role The client is looking for an experienced senior manager to help drive and manage our global media work in tandem with the client's 11 marketplaces. He/she will guide both the Global Media Center (GMC) and marketplaces helping to transform the media practice from a siloed, marketplace approach, to one that drives ongoing enterprise-level value. The role requires someone with deep expertise across awareness and performance media channels and will be an integral part of establishing foundational processes, enabling growth, and improving efficiencies. The role will work very closely with local marketers as well as coordinate cross-functionally inside and outside the marketing org. The role will work across strategy, media operations, and ad tech to streamline and improve our tools and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Leading campaigns and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across multiple teams
Oversight and ownership of global media approaches
Responsible for improving processes and moving the business towards operational excellence
Own 3P relationships with our biggest partners including those at Amazon
Develop overarching policy, principles, processes, and best practices across media, ad tech and media ops
Spearhead the data collation and analysis of media analytics both internally as well as with agencies
Ownership of real time digital dashboards reports as well as the distribution to larger team with insights
Manage and update budgets and finance documents
Proactive thinking on how to improve process and overall project management
Project management of ad hoc initiatives as well as cross functional work with creative, content, and product
Basic qualifications
Experience in project management.
Preferred experience working with media agencies.
Firm understanding of the overall media landscape as we as a comprehensive knowledge of most paid media channels (display, social, radio, TV, OOH, OLV, mobile app, etc.)
Always up to speed on marketing trends with a keen understanding of ad formats, specifications and the different tactics
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
Clear and concise communication skills
Experience in tracking customer journey across multiple devices and provide a holistic view of performance drivers
Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights and learnings from reports
Proven ability for innovation and ability to bring new ideas to the table to continue to advance the business
Experience managing a holistic budget
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of marketing experience in a goal-oriented organization
Global Experience on the brand or agency side
Experience setting and achieving quantitative goals for both brand and direct response objectives
Ad tech experience preferred
