    Our client is the global leader in optimized resource management. They have nearly 200,000 employees worldwide. The client designs and provides water, waste and energy management solutions which contribute to the sustainable development of communities and industries.

    They are now seeking to hire an Admin Assistant II, for their Norwalk office . It is an onsite role, with a possible right to hire (temp to perm) .

    Job responsibilities:

    Performs clerical and administrative duties including typing documents, correspondence and reports for their assigned department. Composes and initiates routine correspondence and memoranda. Edits and proofs documents for grammar, spelling, and clarity of expression, organization, and conformance to company specifications. Proofs art or graphics and verifies that art and text agree.

    Enters data from various sources to maintain and update various databases and spreadsheets.

    Screens telephone calls and visitors. Answers basic questions and provides information. Takes accurate phone and verbal messages and ensures that messages are delivered in a timely manner.

    Maintains organized computer and/or hard copy files for easy identification and retrieval.

    Maintains inventory of departmental office supplies. Prepares purchase requests for above items and coordinates with the purchasing department.

    Occasionally schedules & maintain calendar of meetings & travel itineraries.

    Assists others in facility / office as needed. Regularly assists with departmental human resource functions, which may include preparation of confidential personnel information and new hire orientation.

    Keep management staff informed of report deadlines and monitor progress to ensure that all information is completed on a timely basis.

    Prepare, review, and code expense reports.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Basic requirements:

    High School or GED equivalent required

    Admin experience min 2-3 years

    Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite
