    Operational Excellence: Our client takes pride in their ability to deliver high-quality construction and service projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for understanding, overseeing, and optimizing operations to maintain and enhance their reputation for excellence.

    Team Collaboration: Collaboration is central to their success. You will work closely with various departments, including construction, project management, finance, and human resources, to streamline processes and ensure the seamless execution of projects. The culture at the firm is healthy and as the company grows, we are looking to the COO to place an emphasis on organizational health as much as business growth.

    The Role:**

    We are searching for a seasoned Chief Operating Officer with a demonstrated track record in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, implement effective operational strategies, and drive the growth and efficiency of the organization. Specifically we are looking for candidates who come from small to mid-size ($20-40MM) construction or contracting experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic direction and leadership to all operational departments, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
    • Oversee project management and construction operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
    • Collaborate with department heads to optimize processes, improve resource allocation, and drive performance improvement initiatives.
    • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess operational performance and make data-driven decisions.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
    • Proven experience as a COO or senior executive in a small to mid-size general contractor or construction business.
    • Strong knowledge of construction industry operations, project management, and best practices.
    • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • This is an on-site role; only candidates within a commutable distance to the office in Glendale will be considered.
