Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving, particularly for those with developmental disabilities or memory care needs. This role requires a proactive individual who is capable of managing various tasks while ensuring the well-being and comfort of the client.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
Prepare nutritious meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, focusing on social work principles.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the client.
Document daily activities and any changes in the client's condition.
Requirements
Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
Experience in home health care or related fields is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols.
Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or require memory care.
Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy and patience.
Ability to cook healthy meals tailored to specific dietary needs.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
A valid driver's license may be required for transportation duties.
