    Seeking an experienced and dedicated Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) to act as program supervisor. This contractual position is vital for providing guidance and oversight to our alcohol and drug counseling staff, ensuring excellence in client care and adherence to best practices in substance abuse treatment.

    Responsibilities

    Bi-weekly Supervision: Provide one hour of bi-weekly supervision to our alcohol and drug counseling staff, focusing on professional development and quality of care.

    Assessment Review: Review chemical dependency assessments completed by licensed staff to ensure comprehensive and accurate evaluations.

    Documentation Oversight: Sign off on progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring they align with clinical standards and client care goals.

    Relapse Prevention: Actively participate in relapse prevention planning for clients, contributing expert guidance and strategies.

    Team Leadership: Lead monthly team meetings to facilitate collaboration, discuss case management, and address any operational issues.

    Quality Assurance: Conduct quarterly chart audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in substance abuse counseling.

    Qualifications

    Current Maryland LCADC licensure.

    Extensive experience in alcohol and drug counseling, with a focus on supervision and team management.

    Familiarity with current treatment modalities and best practices in substance abuse treatment.

    In-depth knowledge of ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria and the ability to apply these guidelines in determining appropriate levels of treatment for clients.

    Strong skills in clinical assessment and treatment planning.

    Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

    Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the ethical codes of NBCC (National Board for Certified Counselors) and NAADAC (Association for Addiction Professionals).

    Contract Details

    This is a contractual position with flexible hours.

    Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
