Our client is looking for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER with 5 years or more experience with light hydraulics, an inspection of rotating equipment, management of vendor through a review on static and rotating equipment for oil and gas clients. Our client is a full-service engineering, procurement, and construction organization that is rapidly expanding. The client is looking for a qualified candidate who can meet and execute the below duties as a Mechanical Engineer for a contract to hire position.

Qualified Candidates will have the following attributes:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of instrumentation engineering to build on
• Good written and oral communication skills of English
• Ability to analyze and answer technical questions
• Computer skills using Oracle, Word, Excel

Job duties consist of but not limited to:

• Read and interpret customer job specifications
• Partner with supervisor, customer, and shop for projects
• Complete tasks assigned by senior engineers and supervisors
• Usage of drafting/CAD skills
• Review and apply industry standards as applicable to job and product
• Apply product knowledge and technical skills to application problems independently with a minimum supervisor or oversight.

Required Education:

• At least 3 years of relevant instrumentation engineering work experience

• Engineer In Training certificate (EIT) or passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

• Light Hydraulics experience

• Lead/ Project engineer experience
