Our client is looking for a Transit Technician with airport experience. The preferred candidate will be able to satisfy the below responsibilities with the highest level of execution. 

Safely and efficiently operate and maintain transit system •Support customer service through effective communication •Emergency and failure management •Support of maintenance through efficient implementation of the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Procedures and guideway clearances while adhering to all safety rules and regulations. Responsibilities: •Through interaction with the Automatic Train Control system, manages the assembly of rail vehicle and ensures that the scheduled trains are correctly configured and available for movement into revenue service •Support all revenue activities in accordance with the applicable service plan, including service levels,radio communications, monitoring applicable Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Systems •Is responsible for the power configuration through interaction with the Gealoc system (Safety software)for the normal service or emergency activities •Implements and/or coordinates the safe and efficient execution of power distribution through use of areas, work permits, occupancy permits and clearances •Will use audio, video electronic devices and office equipment to perform task; computer, copier, phone,etc

REQUIREMENTS: •Must be able to pass 7 year Federal Background Check to obtain & maintain SIDA Badge required by the Airport •Must have a valid driver's license •Must be able to work various shifts and days off (24hr Work Environment) •High School diploma or GED equivalent, •Specialized technical training is a plus in any of the following categories: electrical, mechanical or electronics from a recognized institution. •Two –Four years experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical-electrical or electronic systems plus proven familiarity in any one of the above trades is preferred.
