Our client is a contract research organization that provides a diversity of service offerings including molecular and cellular biology, stable cell line development, protein purification and process development as well as customized immunology and pre-clinical in vivo services.

We are seeking a Scientist or experienced Research Associate who under the direction of a senior scientist or director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of all technical tasks and data analysis associated with preclinical research projects. In addition, depending on the position, it will be necessary to manage research associates who are executing preclinical assay projects for clients. The candidate will be an innovative, independent and motivated professional. He or she will have significant and broad experience in combinations of the following areas: maintenance of cell cultures, inventory of samples originating from the preclinical projects, cell based assays, ELISA. The candidate will be able to perform analytical assays used using ELISA, Western Blot and related techniques. The candidate will have experience with troubleshooting assays and should be capable of data analysis, data presentation and interested in learning new areas of research.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 
• BS, MS, Ph.D. in any discipline of Biology or chemical engineering
• 4 + years experience in cell culture within a drug discovery organization or a CRO
• Deep knowledge of functional analysis using different analytical techniques
• Working in an environment of team work and collaboration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven success working in matrix environments
