    Sr. Product Manager for Custom Reagents will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategy and portfolio management to meet strategic and financial objectives of the customs business in collaboration with the business director and WW Customs Team. The role drives brand and product marketing activities by defining the overall portfolio strategy, launching new product/services, and executing lead generation activities to optimize custom business growth. This role will serve as the Marketing leader on WW Custom Team providing customer insights and inputs for developing innovative products/services and solutions to optimize customer experience. In driving sustainable growth of the customs business, the role will work closely with cross functional and cross platform team resources including: Global Research and Clinical Platforms, regional marketing and sales, MARCOM, R&D, Operations, Commercial Operation, Quality, and Finance. This role requires ~15-20% travel.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Portfolio Strategy and Marketing Plan 

    • Redefine custom reagents product/service offering in collaboration with the business director and WW platform teams (Research and Clinical)

    • Identify target customer segment(s) and their unmet needs and assess addressable market and opportunity size to build business cases for custom reagents product/services development

    • Refine and execute custom reagents go-to market (GTM) strategy including a revamped digital strategy

    • Develop evidence/data generation plan for new products and execute successful launches in collaboration with targeted regions

    • Establish global pricing corridors and governance for custom product lines and services

    • Conduct competitive benchmarking to inform new product concepts, line extensions and positioning of commercialized products

    • Commercial representative on product development core teams for new customs products/services

    • Develop annual marketing plan and refine plan according to relevant metrics/KPIs

    Marketing Plan Execution and Customer Insights

    • Lead the development of positioning, key messages, and promotional and sales materials for custom reagents in collaboration with WW Marketing Communications

    • Understand key market trends, barriers, customer insights, and competitive information to identify customer needs and translate into actionable programs/value offer

    • Establish pricing and discount guidelines and develop simple tools to train the WW Commercial Operations team and regional teams

    • Provide customer insights and commercial team inputs to enhance product offering, customer experience, and end-to-end process

    • Collaborate with custom operation and commercial ops to develop dashboards and tools to track orders and lead time

    • Provide training and guidance for regional customer facing teams

    • Work closely with R&D and early access sites to generate scientific data and evidence and incorporate into marketing tactics

    • Collaborate with regional marketing and sales teams to develop and present customs capabilities/case studies to key accounts

    • Plan and execute account-based marketing and lead generation activities and actively support lead nurturing activities for key strategic accounts

    • Strong partnership with the Customs Operations and Scientific leaders to develop and execute on a growth strategy for the customs business

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree required

    • MBA preferred with (if applicable) focus on Marketing or Healthcare Management

     Experience 

    • 3-5 years of marketing and/or project management experience in the life sciences, clinical, or medical device industry

    • Product/brand launch and product management experience and experience working with regional marketing and sales teams

    • Experience working in and/or leading teams in cross-functional environments and/or complex matrix organization

    • Demonstrated strategic thinking and proven analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable plans

    • Experience presenting to senior level leadership

    • Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize and successfully advocate for opportunities to drive growth

    • Experience in custom solutions, service marketing, and/or account-based marketing is a plus
