    Reporting to the Associate Director, Marketing US Region, the Senior Marketing Manager - High Dimensional Biology (HDB) will manage the BD FACS Family of Cell Sorters (High End) and Single-cell Multiomics Solutions portfolios. The incumbent will be responsible for their respective product platform(s)' strategic and financial performance through comprehensive and timely Marketing and portfolio strategy development and execution.

    Roles and responsibilities:
    • Accountable for commercial readiness activities to ensure successful product launch, including customer transition planning and forecasting.
    • Develop a regional marketing and related launch plan for the assigned product platform that defines "where to play, and how to win," including market development, evidence generation, marketing communications, pricing strategies, promotional strategies, and customer-facing associate training.
    • Provide input to the region strategic plan and marketing plan development. Ensure a plan that supports completion of and is aligned with BDX 2025 goals.
    • Develop content and strategies for promotional materials and programs, including sales aids, advertising, digital campaigns, and external events, while closely collaborating with the Marketing Communications team.
    • Effectively partner with sales, regional and platform marketing, and other functions to execute the Marketing Plan according to business performance, vision, strategy, and goals.
    • Organize and execute appropriate training and direction to sales and applications teams.
    • Champion customer targeting strategy for the assigned portfolio and actively participates in customer-facing activities, as needed, to accelerate customer capture.
    • Drive end-to-end positioning in a modular and consistent way, addressing full  continuum of capabilities and solutions.
    • Strengthen value props through value-based messaging--drive plans to fill data gaps.
    • Use fact-based data to inform critical decisions, driving timely decision-making even in the face of incomplete information.
    • Establish relevant KPI and track/perform against them.
    • Develop and support market research activities (Voice of Customer).
    • Develop and maintain expert market knowledge in competitor technologies, recommending suitable actions to maximize opportunities and minimize potential threats.
    • Accountable for regional demand management by developing recommendations on product sales forecasts. Define commercialization goals, objectives, success criteria and metrics and measure results.
    • Provide upstream marketing teams with customer feedback.
    • Identify market trends to inform strategic launch decisions.
    • Develops expertise on customer buying criteria and market segmentation to create strategies to win in the market.
    • Accountable for the commercial readiness activities to ensure successful product launch, including customer transition planning and forecasting.
    • Comprehensive plan on product compatibility, timing, and interdependencies.
    • Comprehensive product training to the region training teams and necessary functions including the development of comprehensive launch content that details customer and  requirements.
    • Post market surveillance strategy, plan, and execution that ensures referenceable customer sites.

     
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree in Scientific Discipline or Business/Marketing; MBA preferred.
    • 5-8 years of experience in a marketing, strategy, or related function within Life Sciences, Healthcare, Medical Device and/or related industry.
    • Proven track record in marketing, including market development, positioning, market research and segmentation. New product commercialization experience is preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. Proven ability to effectively prioritize while routinely working on multiple tasks with multiple people.
    • Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic, matrix environment.
    • Demonstrate agility and action orientation when facing ambiguity, change and uncertainty. Effectively manage change.
    • Intuitively and quickly assess people and situations and act accordingly. Demonstrate strong persuasion and negotiation capabilities.
    • Organized and proactive with demonstrated ability to multitask and balance competing priorities

    Job Specific Requirements:
