    Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis for our organization. As a remote team member, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including daily sales summaries, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, sales tax preparation and general ledger maintenance.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to management.
    • Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial processes and drive efficiency.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to various departments within the organization.
    • Stay current with accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    • Proven experience working as a Business Accountant or similar role.

    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Suite.

    • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    • Self-propelled with the ability to work independently, confidently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in restaurant accounting or hospitality industry.

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred

    • Familiarity with restaurant-specific accounting software (we use Restaurant365).

    • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements for restaurants.
