  • Responsibilities

    HMT is seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our growing Quality team at our facility in Tomball, TX.  The QA Administrator provides support in addressing and reporting on Non-Conformance Reports, compliance with the Quality Management System, and continuous improvement projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Process Non-Conformance Reports (“NCRs”); assign and coordinate with Corrective Action Facilitators and Preventive Action Facilitators to resolve each NCR and prevent recurrence; and report on status of open NCRs.
    • Process Requests for Quote (“RFQs”); assign and coordinate with RFQ owner; ensure timely communication with RFQ Initiator; and report on status of open RFQs.
    • Create, revise and maintain quality documents (i.e. procedures, forms, etc.) utilizing document filing and control systems (electronic and paper).
    • Maintain document control system for Quality Management System (“QMS”) and related processes.
    • Audit processes documented in (or related to) the QMS to ensure compliance per ISO 9001 standards.
    • Maintain current data on Quality Portal (HMT intranet website).
    • Perform routine clerical and data entry functions.
    • Book and prepare conference room(s) for meetings / workshops.
    • Direct visitors to the appropriate personnel as required.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
    • Excellent organizational skills and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
    • Excellent skills in using Windows-based computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel) and web-based applications.
    • Minimum of one (1) year administration experience or equivalent.
