A Software Support technical hand supports issues related to AutoCAD and Excel tools by maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting drawing/design issues on day to day basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops knowledge and skills in a specific practice area. • To maintain Services Engineering design/drafting software tools in up and running condition • To trouble shoot any issue as reported by different project leads/drafters on drawing development. • Understanding of AutoLISP for AutoCAD • Hands on experience in manual drafting / creating Dynamic blocks with AutoCAD • VBA (Excel Object Model, MS Access, MS Word, AutoCAD). Form creation, database push/pull • Ability to research and learn new languages/applications/tools as may be required • Write and maintain software that pulls / exports data from vendor APIs • Handle large datasets in popular formats like Excel • Understanding of Git and GitHub version controls • Hands on experience with SolidWorks Simulation and understanding of parametric 3D • Be able to work with vectors and normalized vectors for automating 3D geometries

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION 

• Completion of an engineering, computer science, or similar degree from a recognized university. • 5+ years' experience developing using VBA • AutoCAD skills

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have: • Simple and complex reading and writing • Analysis/comprehension • Judgement/decision making • Ability to move distances within and between warehouses/offices
