The IT Financial Systems Administrator **** works with business and IT to provide technology guidance and support to business strategies and goals. This role actively participates in the planning, development, implementation, and support of program and project efforts that utilize technology solutions, principles, processes, standards, and best practices. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an understanding of application dependencies, workflows, integrations and processes.
- Maintain user manuals and training materials, provide training and support to the global finance community.
- Administrate full suite of Microsoft Dynamics SL
- Partner with the finance organization to evaluate requirements for BPM (Business Process Model) and Reporting and ensure the system is fully leveraged to achieve optimal results.
- Elicit, gather, analyze, organize and document functional/technical requirements for projects throughout their life cycle.
- Maintain and design SQL to automate interface process from relational database.
- Create and maintain advanced allocations scripts.
- Manage user training and user documentation ensuring up-to-date reflection of current systems.
- Provide sound recommendations for system enhancements, streamline current processes.
- Support/coordinate Dynamics applications user acceptance testing
- Perform data validation to ensure data integrity between data sets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve employee issues and questions related to Finance systems such as Concur.
- Collaboration between the IT and Business departments third parties to complete both daily responsibilities and project related work.
- Defines metrics around the application portfolio such as SLAs, KPIs, etc.
- Brokers IT services and capabilities on behalf of customers; coordinates system solutions.
- Allies with other IT functional areas to remain current on project status, and inform customer management of progress; conversely, keeps IT managers aware of user issues and resolves conflicts.
- Support the overall IT vision and work with Process Owners to deliver consistent and predictable IT services.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) related to Technology/Finance preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience with financial and manufacturing systems (ERP)
- Experience in the design, implementation, administration, and configuration of ERP and CRM systems – specific experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL/AX/D365 a plus
- Experience with financial systems – General Ledger/Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Financial Reporting
- Experience with and working knowledge of cyber security principles
- Experience with adherence to compliance requirements (e.g. SOX, PCI, PII, HIPAA)
