Under the direction of the Production Superintendent, be able to learn and operate different pieces of equipment in the Production Area. Must be able to take direction and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preform pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
• Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production.
• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
• Follow all company safety protocol.
• Housekeeping and sanitation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

• Education: GED/Diploma required.
• Experience as a Machine Operator.
• Knowledge of Production Procedures.
• Ability to read Blueprints, Schematics and Manuals.
• Must possess strong basic math skills.
• Analytical Skills
• Detailed Oriented

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to move about in the shipping yard, shop floor, and warehouse for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in uncontrolled climate conditions for extended periods of time. Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
