    Due to significant growth and internal movement a fabulous opportunity has arisen to join RAA’s local friendly Retail Sales Team. We’re looking for people who are passionate, customer centric and enjoy creating memorable experiences for our members. To be successful you will have a drive to succeed and the ability to provide excellent service over the phone while multi-tasking with computer systems.

     

    Our Retail Sales Consultants provide immediate and effective solutions to our members, coupled with achieving brilliant sales targets together with:

     

    • Ensuring quality conversations to identify customer needs and offer best solutions.
    • Utilising procedures and guidelines to make good business decisions for RAA and our members.
    • Becoming multi-skilled and able to provide information to new and existing members about all of RAA’s extensive products.
    • Finding what the member wants & needs, together with the ability to keep the conversation appropriately flowing and comfortable.
    • Plus, much more!

     

    We pride ourselves on ensuring our staff succeed, and as such, RAA will provide a thorough and structured training program. The role will be commencing TUESDAY 4TH JANUARY which will include 4 WEEKS TRAINING of system and product knowledge.

     

    Our contact centre is open Monday – Friday between 8am to 6pm (you’ll work on a rotating roster during these hours- shifts are 8 hours with opportunity for overtime) as well as some rostered and optional overtime Saturday shifts between 9am to 12pm.

     

     

    ABOUT YOU

     

    At RAA we hire on cultural fit first and technical fit second! However, to be successful in the role you will need to have:

     

    • Experience providing excellent customer service and a passion to help others.
    • Previous sales experience with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
    • Solid attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
    • Proficient with the use of computers.
    • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing; and

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     Education/Experience: 

    Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for moderate and high complexity testing. Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science field from an accredited institution; or, must meet CLIA grandfathered medical technologist requirements. At least four years of experience.

            

    Language Ability:  

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. 

            

    Math Ability:

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

        

    Reasoning Ability:  

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions independently. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Good organizational the human relation skills.

      

    Computer Skills:

    Ability to use Microsoft Office products and various other computer software including Laboratory Information System.

         

    Certificates and Licenses:

    Specialty certification by a recognized certifying agency for clinical laboratory professionals preferred (ASCP, ASMT, NCA, etc). Must actively demonstrate the pursuance of specialty certification in chosen field of clinical expertise.
