    Job Description

    HNM Systems provides direct hire, contract to hire, and professional placement to the Telecommunications, Utilities, and IT sectors. HNM also offers turn-key engineering services for the design of outside and inside plant, power utility, and Wi-Fi systems.

    Our client (located in the Mission Valley area) is seeking an IT Support Specialist who will demonstrate the ability to work as a team member to provide technical onboarding and troubleshooting support to employees while ensuring their satisfaction. This role will be called upon to resolve a wide range of problems, such as laptop, iPhone and tablet issues. They will also be involved in maintaining and supporting the onboarding and offboarding process as it relates to equipment procurement, retainment and overall management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical and interpersonal skills, be highly organized and motivated, and enjoy being part of a dynamic team in a growing company environment.

    THE JOB: 

    • Create accounts in various software’s and configure OS, IOS & Android hardware as part of company’s onboarding/offboarding process
    • Responsible for mobile device asset management (IBM MaaS360)
    • Responsible for Apple ID Business management (Apple laptops and iPhones)
    • Troubleshoot and support nearly all Apple and Android technologies, Apple laptops, iPhones, Samsung tablets and Office 365 products and services
    • Troubleshoot and support business-class networking equipment (managed and unmanaged switches, routers/firewalls, Internet connectivity) remotely
    • Troubleshoot and support typical small and mid-sized business office equipment (printers, scanners)
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues either remotely, over phone or via email
    • Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required
    • Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures
    • Position requires weekend, holiday and on call duty as needed

    THE QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Requires an associate degree in a computer related area
    • At least five years of experience in a Systems Administrator or IT Support type of role
    • Experience with Gsuite & Microsoft 365 as an Administrator
    • Experience with Apple OS, IOS and Android
    • Familiar with a variety of Information Technology concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Basic knowledge of cyber security procedures
    • Remote management and automation abilities highly desired
