    HOJ Innovations – Hesco Services is currently seeking outstanding candidates for a Service Dispatcher. The Service Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and coordinating service calls, taking incoming customer calls and provide clerical support activities for our operational resources. Ultimately, this individual will act as primary liaison with customers to schedule work on overhead cranes, conveyors, and other general material handling equipment. Customer interaction, communicating with the Field Technicians, and coordinating job priorities with Service Managers will be an everyday occurrence. The successful candidate will have dispatch and scheduling experience, have outstanding customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, be able to work quickly and efficiently.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

    • Interacts and communicates with Service Managers and Field Technician Supervisor to assign/dispatch Service Technicians

    • Schedules or dispatches technicians to appropriate locations

    • Takes incoming calls from customers to address questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment

    • Records and maintains files or records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, or other dispatch information

    • Computes and records charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges, rentals, and similar items

    • Reviews inspection reports and forwards project paperwork for final billing

    • Generates Work Order documents and dispatches field service technicians

    • Ensure that all new service programs (e.g. standard repair times, exchanges, etc.) are carried out by all service employees

    • Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors, and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability

    • Plan and coordinate implementation of maintenance contracts

    • Coordinates service resources by connecting open jobs with parts ordered and received

    • Reviews inspection reports and forwards project paperwork for final billing

    • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff, and responding to special requests

    • Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports

    • Maintain communication to promote the concept of "total quality" customer service

    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Must have stellar Customer Service skills - need to be extremely comfortable and effective on the phone
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily interruptions
    • Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows

    Education & Experience:

    • Education: High School Diploma/GED required
    • Previous dispatch/scheduling experience preferred
    • Relevant knowledge of warehousing/distribution and material handling systems is a plus!
