This role is for an accounting professional, with excellent aptitude and accounting skills. We are looking for someone with accounting or bookkeeping experience. An accounting or other business degree is a plus, but not a requirement. This position will include a variety of tasks, including Service Order billing (including dispatch), Collections, Inventory, HR Admin (timecard verification), and Expense Reporting (credit cards).

Essential Duties:

• Prepare and send project invoices.
• Enter credit card expenses and reconcile with weekly statements
• Answer incoming customer calls and accept credit card payments
• Customer account maintenance and light collections.
• Assist on all collection calls, purchase order verification, and on-line invoice submission as needed, will escalate accounts to Credit Manager when necessary
• Researching and resolving discrepancies between billings and issuing credits as necessary
• Inventory cycle count management (working with warehouse and parts department personnel)
• Review and reconciliation of timecard data for weekly payroll.
• Other accounting duties as assigned including account reconciliations and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred)
• Must be highly organized and be able to multi-task
• Excellent attention to detail and efficient data entry
• Excellent written and oral communication as well as extensive problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Windows based operating systems & strong Microsoft Excel skills (including the use of V-Lookups & pivot tables)
• Accounting software and systems experience (we use Acumatica an Sage500)
• Ability to work in a team environment to complete goals, while also working alone on projects Ability to identify and solve business problems (identifying process improvements is encouraged)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

Typical Work Schedule: M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (after training period, we allow 1-2 remote workdays per week)
