North American Roofing is searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist to work in our Tampa Corporate Office.
The successful candidate will have experience in A/P and have solid data entry skills. Being a perfectionist will be a plus in this job.
This is a full time position with healthcare benefits, paid time off and 401(k) savings program.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- • A/P administration: Process A/P corporate/overhead transactions
- • Process weekly check, e-payable ACH, and wire payments
- • Comdata E-Payables MasterCard administration with payments and enrolling of new vendors
- • Maintain W-9 forms and issue annual 1099-MISC forms
- • Process journal/manual payment to record all EFT/ACH/WIRE transactions
- Assist with A/P month-end closing, year-end closing and audits
- Other administrative duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- • 5+ years accounts payable experience in related areas and/or Associates Accounting, Finance or related degree preferred
- • Construction and/or Sage MAS or Viewpoint experience preferred, but not required
- • Ability to speak Spanish is helpful
