Radiance is seeking a highly qualified and motivated senior physical scientist in meteorology and oceanography (METOC) to support Research and Development activities by providing advisory technical expertise, feedback, analysis, and other assistance.
JOB DUTIES
- Supporting METOC requirements and capabilities of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
Required Skills
- Understanding of the research cycle, including transition to other teams
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong technical writing and briefing skills
- Ability to understand and work with complex meteorological, oceanographic, and geospatial data
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Required Experience
- Familiarity with National Technical Means (NTM) data and ordering/processing data
- Expertise in METOC standards as applied to NGA and DOD operations
- Degree in Meteorology, Oceanography, or related discipline
- Master’s or PhD and 13 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of experience
