    POSITION PROFILE

    Provide support for Maintenance Supervisor in all aspects of building repairs & normal maintenance of our equipment.

    • General maintenance, Preventive maintenance and repair of company machinery
    • Perform weekly eyewash inspections, monthly fire extinguisher inspections and monthly emergency lighting inspections.
    • Assist with general repairs when two people are required
    • Vacuum off light fixture, pipes, I beams, etc.
    • Monitor wood dumpster, dust dumpster, garbage compactor, cardboard recycling and scheduling of pick ups
    • Clean and replace filters of filter bags for dust collection
    • Go on roof with supervisor to service air make up units, roof fans, exhaust fan for chemical storage room and general inspections.
    • Maintain a clean shop
    • Documentation of services performed
    • Assist when needed after hours/weekends to ensure there are always two people in the building
    • Change light bulbs
    • General custodial work
    • Combustible Dust Removal

    Required Skills

    • Must have high school diploma (or GED equivalent)

       

               

    Required Experience

    • General knowledge of machinery, equipment, electrical (including three phase) pneumatics, motors, basic preventive maintenance experience, HVAC, power and hand tools.
    • Some electrical experience preferred.
    • Mechanical aptitude and good communication skills.
    • Must be able to work on a Boom Lift at heights of 20 -30 feet to perform building maintenance and dust removal as a regular part of daily duties.
    • Must have valid driver’s license.
