Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. We are a group private practice with offices in East Haven and West Hartford. Full time employees are required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and are eligible for health insurance benefits, short-term disability, life insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401K.

Responsibilities

Perform intake assessments

Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and/ or children

Create individualized treatment plans for each client

Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan

Perform regular wellness checks

Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

Qualifications

Masters' degree in counseling, social work, or similar field

Current and unrestricted license to practice independently

Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized
