We are looking for a talented, motivated and self-starting interior designer to join the team. Expect to earn $40,000+ per year depending on experience.  HOMZ real estate is a boutique real estate brokerage that serves Orange County and the surrounding areas. We are looking for someone to take a project from initial client meeting to completion with minimal supervision. This ideal candidate can meet with sellers to provide design ideas and solutions to get sellers' home ready for listing. You will be responsible for taking your ideas and solutions to the next level by getting estimates for your proposal, get clients' approval and then implementing the proposal in a timely manner so the home can be ready for photography and input into the MLS. Responsibilities: Meet with clients in their homes to develop staging plans that help the property sell quickly Manage the process of furnishing and equipment selection, purchasing, and installation so staging is finished in a timely manner Stay current on the latest design trends including decorating techniques, new materials, innovative tools and sustainability issues and implement them into every design project • Acquire vendor estimates and coordinate upgrades/repairs or design ideas to get ready for listing Qualifications: Well informed on affordable and functional furniture systems and finishes Ability to listen to a client’s needs and communicate potential solutions Effective time management and organizational skills Must hold a Degree/License in Interior Design and have at least 2 years of experience • Must be a self starter and have the ability to work independently • Spanish speaker a plus Compensation: $40,000+ depending on experience yearly
