    Job Description

    Established in 2016, Hopes Horizon is a privately-owned, family-focused Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center located in Baltimore County, Maryland.  Licensed by the State of Maryland, our team of experienced counselors, therapists, and allied-health professionals are dedicated to fostering positive change for the individuals we treat.  There are many lives impacted by the disease of addiction, and we are inspired each and every day by the healing power of recovery.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    We are looking for an extremely detail oriented, personable and dependable person to assist with various administrative duties in our Human Resources department. This position will start as part-time with the potential to transfer to full-time.

    Duties will include, but are not limited to:

    • Assisting the HR Manager in maintaining employee files, documentation and benefits
    • Screening resumes
    • Conducting phone screenings and scheduling interviews
    • Responding to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, account log-ins and time cards
    • Assisting in administering Payroll and Benefits
    • Helping other areas as needed with duties such as scheduling meetings, making phone calls, filing and scanning documents and compiling reports

    Must be:

    • Motivated to learn new skills
    • Able to work 30 hours
    • Prepared for any challenge
    • Punctual
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Very detail-oriented
    • Computer proficient (MS Office Suite, Google Drive)

    Experience and Education

    • At least one year of office experience
    • HUMAN RESOURCES EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
    • Valid Driver’s License
