Job Description

We are seeking a Node.js Developer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in compliance with system software architecture and software product development process • Help maintain code quality, organization, and testability • Write software requirements, design and test documentation. QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of 5 years software development experience at a startup / mid-sized company • Strong knowledge of javascript across different versions (ES6+, Vanilla JS/Pre-ES6) • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Experience developing backend systems for both web and mobile platforms

• Experience writing unit/integration tests (Mocha, Chai, Jest etc.) • Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to give and receive constructive feedback • Extensive experience designing REST APIs • Love taking on the challenge of learning new technologies • Self-starter attitude with a disciplined work ethic • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree / work experience PLUSES: • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular • Familiarity with documentation tools such as Postman or Swagger/OpenAPI

• Familiarity with cloud architecture and management services (AWS or Google Cloud Services)

• Familiarity with containerized solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

• Experience with e-commerce application development and payment processor integration (Stripe, PayPal, Braintree, etc.) • Familiarity with continuous integration software (Jenkins, CircleCI, TeamCity, Travis, etc.)

• Familiarity with TDD
