Job Objectives:
Improve the optimization of complex processes, and systems. Identify opportunities to eliminate waste of time, money, materials, person-hours, energy and other resources that do not generate value. Develop and automate processes and systems that improve quality and productivity of the organization. Deliver Business Analytics to promote operations performance improvement. Serves as a liaison between corporate driven programs and the end user.
Apply business operations techniques (e.g. statistics, simulation, forecasting, optimization) to solve complex business problems
Must have the ability to lead and manage projects from inception through completion.
Provide recommendations for staffing and business forecasts
Serve as the technical expert for individual issues and a Liaison between Operations, and Accounting. Ability to transform accounting data into operational insights.
Identifies system design problems that contribute to human errors and then identifies alternative systems and processes based on basic industrial engineering principals to mitigate errors
Develops statistical, graphical, and narrative reports justifying work unit reorganization or position restructuring to improve system effectiveness and efficiency
Conduct occasional field studies and data collection efforts in support of sophisticated modeling and analysis
Communicate results and recommendations to senior leadership through verbal presentations and written reports Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Education or Experience:
College degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Operations & Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Accounting and/or equivalent work experience
Previous experience in systems implementation and effectiveness is a plus
Workflow process understanding and the ability to document and implement efficient processes
Automation of various accounting and operational support systems
Demonstrate strong consulting skills and experience with consulting or quality improvement teams
Strong computer skills including spreadsheets, database, statistical, and software
Strong Project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications & SharePoint, M3 and Blackline advantageous, Strong Excel to include an understanding of VBA Macros
Ability to travel occasionally
Experience in conducting field studies/data collection efforts and analyses, including familiarity with capacity/demand analysis and modeling techniques is preferred
Understanding of Lean and Just-In-Time Delivery
