    As an Automotive Tuner specializing in Ford, Dodge, and Chevy vehicles at HPJ Performance, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the performance and efficiency of our clients' vehicles. We are seeking a skilled professional with prior experience in on-the-job tuning, not just theoretical schooling. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of engine management systems, fuel injection, ignition systems, and performance tuning methodologies specific to Ford, Dodge, and Chevy platforms. Responsibilities: • Perform ECU (Engine Control Unit) tuning, calibration, and programming for Ford, Dodge, and Chevy vehicles to optimize engine performance, drivability, and fuel efficiency. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve tuning-related issues using industry-standard diagnostic tools and techniques. • Collaborate with our sales and customer service teams to understand client requirements and provide tailored tuning solutions. • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive performance trends, technologies, and tuning methodologies specific to Ford, Dodge, and Chevy platforms. • Assist in the development and testing of performance parts and tuning packages to meet customer demands and performance goals. • Maintain accurate records of tuning activities, including before-and-after performance metrics and tuning parameters. Qualifications: • Prior experience as an Automotive Tuner specializing in Ford, Dodge, and Chevy vehicles, with a demonstrated track record of successful tuning projects. • Proficiency in using tuning software and diagnostic tools such as SCT, HP Tuners, EFI Live, or similar platforms. • Strong understanding of engine management systems, fuel injection, ignition systems, and performance tuning principles. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve tuning-related issues efficiently. • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members, sales staff, and customers to deliver exceptional service. • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality tuning results that meet or exceed customer expectations. • Flexibility to adapt to evolving industry trends, technologies, and customer preferences. Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly
