Our busy hotel is looking for a stellar Real Estate Director of Operations to create a revenue strategy that maximizes profitability for everyday sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. Responsibilities: Use marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other ways to actively pursue new business Assess the company's success by consulting with sales managers and stakeholders Examine market trends to establish pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand Recruit, train, and develop your team to serve your customers better Write comprehensive and precise sales reports showing the financial statements for sales promotion, direct sales, and outline of marketing plans What will you do? These are the standards a well-above-average performer will maintain or exceed: • Build, implement, and manages all systems for transaction coordination, internal communication, client communication, financial management, information management, central database management, and marketing • Assists as needed in documenting the systems of other departments, including customer service, buyer, seller, lead generation, tracking, and expansion systems • Is responsible for all financial systems, including maintaining the books, paying the bills, handling payroll, assuring the collection of commissions, maintaining the budget, and generating financial reports • Oversees all contracts through closing • Creates and maintains an operations manual that documents all systems and standards. • Coordinates the purchase, installation, and maintenance of all office equipment • Is responsible for hiring, training, consulting, and holding accountable all additional administrative department members Essential duties and responsibilities • System development, implementation, documentation, and management • Information management • Oversight of contracts through closing • Customer/Vendor relations • Bookkeeping (A/R and A/P) • Leading administrative department members (as appropriate to organizational structure) Qualifications: Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Prior sales and marketing experience of 5+ years, including some in a sales management role, is required This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Strong understanding of marketing strategies and best practices High Impact Traits Rapid Problem SolvingThe target for this trait is high.
