    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Professional to provide

    essential administrative and HR-related support within our campus unit. This role plays a

    key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing communications,

    coordinating office logistics, supporting academic program administration, and

    maintaining essential databases and documentation.

     

    The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a strong communicator, and comfortable

    multitasking in a dynamic environment that serves faculty, staff, students, and external

    stakeholders.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the first point of contact for the office by answering and directing phone

    calls and welcoming visitors

    • Provide general administrative support to the department of Human Resources,

    specifically the Assist Director of Human Resources.

    • Maintain and update program-related databases and records accurately

    • Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed

    • Assist with procurement of office supplies and monitor inventory levels

    • Coordinate with internal departments to support logistics and administrative

    processes

    • Ensure smooth communication and workflow across unit operations

     

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in office

    administration is a plus

    • Prior experience in office administration, human resources, or a related field

    preferred

    • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills

    • Customer service-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
