About the Role
We are a Japanese manufacturing group company seeking an experienced HR / Admin Coordinator to provide comprehensive HR and administrative support to management and employees. This position partners closely with the department managers to deliver services across all aspects of employment, including recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, payroll coordination, compliance, and training.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment that values teamwork and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources / Administration
Support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.
Handle visa and documentation for expatriate employees.
Maintain and update job descriptions, compensation data, and HR policies.
Manage payroll data input (hours worked, PTO, deductions, and employee status changes).
Manage employee benefits and assist with annual reviews.
Support performance appraisal reviews and assist in employee evaluations.
Coordinate and maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Handle workers compensation claims and documentation of workplace incidents.
Plan and conduct benefits education sessions and ensure enforcement of company policies.
Collaborate with leadership on resolving employee conflicts or workplace concerns.
General Affairs / Accounting Support
Handle general office matters such as supplies, vendors, and facility coordination.
Assist with expense reports, invoices, and communication with accounting firms.
Support company events and internal communications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus.
Experience in HR, administration, or general office support is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Fluent in both Japanese and English.
Team-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
