HR Assistant (People and Culture)
Overview:
StaffBuffalo is working with a global, industry-leading organization to hire an HR Assistant (People and Culture), offering $26–$31.25 per hour based on experience. This role supports structured Human Resources operations while contributing to meaningful employee engagement initiatives within a polished, high-performing corporate environment.
Reporting to senior HR leadership, this position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can balance administrative precision with employee-facing coordination. This HR Assistant will support core HR operations including employee status changes, onboarding coordination, documentation management, and internal communications. In addition, this individual will assist in planning and executing employee recognition initiatives, milestone celebrations, and engagement events that reinforce a strong and consistent company culture.

Success in this role requires strong prioritization skills, adaptability, and the ability to pivot quickly without sacrificing accuracy. Responsibilities:
Process employee status changes including promotions, transfers, and separations with accuracy and confidentiality
Coordinate onboarding logistics including welcome materials, documentation, workspace preparation, and cross-department communication
Assist with employee engagement initiatives including recognition programs, appreciation events, and milestone celebrations
Support event planning details such as vendor coordination, supply ordering, presentation preparation, and timeline tracking
Draft, review, and proofread internal communications and employee-facing materials
Maintain organized personnel files and ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures
Track approvals, follow up proactively, and ensure deadlines are consistently met
Provide administrative support to senior HR leadership and maintain consistency across initiatives
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field preferred
3–5 years of experience in HR support, Executive Assistant, or corporate administrative roles required
Experience in a structured corporate or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience assisting with events or employee engagement initiatives
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Comfortable supporting multiple leaders in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
