About the Role:

Azar International Inc is looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Director / People Operations Manager to join our team in Kingston, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the people strategy of a growing organization, driving culture, talent, and operational excellence from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding

Develop and implement people operations strategies aligned with company goals

Manage compensation, benefits administration, and performance management programs

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and DEI efforts

Partner with senior leadership to support organizational development and workforce planning

Maintain and improve HRIS systems, HR policies, and employee handbooks

Requirements:

5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or director-level role

Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices

Experience with HRIS platforms and people operations tools

Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
